Is the weather free?
Yes. METAR, TAF, hour-by-hour forecasts, route briefings, NOTAMs and push alerts are free and are never limited by a subscription.
What does PilotDeck PRO unlock?
PRO removes the daily play limit on training games, opens the full quiz question banks and longer quiz sessions, and adds the Daily Check history and IMSAFE self-check. Weather and briefing features stay free.
How do I restore a purchase on a new device?
Open the PRO / subscription screen and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID you used for the original purchase.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. On your iPhone: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → PilotDeck, then change or cancel. Cancelling keeps PRO active until the end of the current period.
Why do I get a push notification?
When you follow an airport, PilotDeck alerts you the moment its METAR or TAF is updated. You can mute stations or turn alerts off per route in the app.
The weather looks old or won't refresh.
PilotDeck caches the last report for offline reading in the cockpit. Pull to refresh with an active internet connection to fetch the latest data. If a station still won't update, email us the ICAO code.
Which platforms are supported?
PilotDeck is an iPhone app and requires iOS 18 or later.
