Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the PilotDeck mobile application ("the App"), published by
Flight Service SIA ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the App you agree to
these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
SAFETY-CRITICAL DISCLAIMER. PilotDeck is an informational and flight-planning aid only.
It is NOT a certified navigation, weather, or flight-management system and must
NOT be used as a primary source for the safe conduct of a flight. Always obtain an official
pre-flight briefing, current NOTAMs, and verify all information with authoritative aeronautical sources before
every flight. The pilot in command is solely responsible for the safe operation of the aircraft.
1. Purpose & permitted use
The App provides aviation weather information (METAR/TAF), general consumer weather forecasts, flight-planning
tools, training quizzes, and games. It is intended for situational awareness, planning support, and training.
You may use it only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
2. No warranty on data
- Weather and aeronautical data are relayed from third-party and official sources on an "as is" and
"as available" basis and may be delayed, incomplete, interrupted, or inaccurate.
- The "Civil Forecast" is general consumer weather (Apple WeatherKit) and is not aviation
METAR/TAF.
- Quizzes and games are for training and entertainment and do not constitute official type-rating,
certification, or regulatory training.
- We make no warranty that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.
3. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for any loss, damage, injury, or consequence
arising from the use of, or reliance on, information provided by the App. You use the App entirely at your
own risk. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
4. Subscriptions & purchases
- Certain features require a paid subscription or in-app purchase, processed by Apple through the App Store.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings.
- Prices are shown in the App before purchase. Any free trial converts to a paid subscription unless
cancelled before the trial ends.
- Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with App Store policy.
5. Intellectual property
The App, its design, content, and trademarks are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify,
reverse-engineer, redistribute, or create derivative works except as permitted by law.
6. Third-party services
The App uses Apple WeatherKit and other data sources. Your use of such data may be subject to those providers'
terms. Maps are provided by Apple.
7. Changes
We may update the App and these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of
the updated Terms.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Latvia, without regard to conflict
of law principles.
