OpsDeck

Privacy Policy

Effective 4 October 2026 · published by Flight Service SIA, Latvia

OpsDeck is a business app in which flight crews, cabin crews, operations and ground handling of one company share the status of their flights. This policy explains what data OpsDeck handles, why, who can see it and how long it is kept.

Who is responsible

OpsDeck is provided by Flight Service SIA, Latvia (info@flightservice.net).

Each company that uses OpsDeck (your operator) decides who gets an account and uses OpsDeck for its own flight operations. For the operational data of its flights the operator is the data controller and Flight Service SIA processes the data on its behalf. Where Flight Service SIA itself uses OpsDeck for its own flights, it is the controller.

What we handle

DataWhy
Your name, your category (pilot, cabin, ops, handling, observer), admin status, your seat on a flight (PIC, FO, FA, handling) So your company can put you on flights and everyone sees who did what
Phone number and email address — optional, entered by you or by your company's admin So colleagues on your flights can contact you; email is also where flight reports go if you ask for them
Operational records: checklist entries and their times, requests and answers, text you enter (crew reports, defects), photos you attach The purpose of the app — the shared record of each flight
A personal invite code and a sign-in key stored on your phone To sign you in without a password
Push notification token, app language, the last time you used the app To deliver notifications in your language and to show colleagues whether you are reachable

OpsDeck does not collect your location, your address book, health or payment data. It contains no advertising, no third-party analytics and no tracking, and we never sell data.

The camera is used only when you choose to attach a photo to a checklist item.

Who can see it

Service providers that process data for us, only to run the service:

The OpsDeck server is operated by Flight Service SIA. All connections between the app and the server are encrypted (HTTPS).

How long we keep it

Deleting your account

In the app: ⋯ → Delete account. This immediately removes your phone number, email address, sign-in and notification token, stops report emails, and closes the account for good — it cannot be restored.

Your name stays on the past flights you took part in (for example, who was captain on a given flight), together with the entries you made. These are your operator's operational records, which it needs to keep. If you believe your name should be removed as well, contact your operator or us.

Your company's admin can also disable your account at any time.

Your rights

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation you can ask for access to your data, its correction or deletion, restriction of processing, or a copy of it. For data of your company's flights, contact your operator; you can always write to us at info@flightservice.net and we will help or pass the request on. You may also complain to the Latvian Data State Inspectorate (dvi.gov.lv) or to the authority of your country.

Children

OpsDeck is a tool for aviation professionals and is not intended for anyone under 16.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version is published on this page with a new effective date.
